Coren recently linked to a blog post by Pastor Kevin of Eganville Baptist Church — an evangelical Christian minister — point-by-point demolishes the objections that are circulating about it, noting in one place that “the curriculum actually encourages abstinence” and in another that a claim made by protesters about the curriculum is “not even close. This is simply fearmongering.”

Pastor Kevin makes the head-smackingly obvious observation that in school children learn things about the world they live in, and that as parents we teach them about our values, beliefs and interpretations about those things. “The world is full of people who don’t share our world view, but we do share this province with them,” he writes.
